She began her DJ career in 1994. After working at DMR Osaka, one of the most cutting-edge record shops of the 1990s, she went on to play a key role as a buyer from the opening days of Osaka’s renowned record hub, newtone records, where she continues to be active as a staff member today.
Around the turn of the 20th to 21st century, she co-organized the legendary Osaka party “eep” with EYE, an event that left a profound impact on Japan’s party scene. She was also a member of FLOWER OF LIFE, a collective that remains widely remembered and discussed for its groundbreaking influence.
Highly regarded for her solid and unwavering sense of groove that consistently locks in the dancefloor, she has performed at PRECIOUS HALL in Sapporo—widely known as a sacred venue for house music—as well as at techno parties such as FUTURE TERROR, and numerous outdoor festivals across Japan.
Her reputation extends beyond Japan, with acclaimed performances throughout Asia’s underground scenes, including Vietnam, Hong Kong, and South Korea. Internationally, she has played at London’s fabric and at WONDERFRUIT, one of Asia’s largest festivals, where her sets were met with great success.
While her core focus lies in dance music—ranging from house and techno to breakbeats—her approach is not bound by genre. From experimental and chill-out to jazz and beyond, she moves freely across styles, always responding to the atmosphere of the space while staying true to the sounds she loves.
