名実共に日本を代表するテクノDJ Takaaki Itoh。 ベルリンの世界最高峰クラブ BERGHAINでのPARTY<KLUBNACHT>をはじめ、 オランダ最大級の野外フェスティヴァ<AWAKENINGS>、ハンガリー<MAYDAY>、スペイン<LA REAL>などといった各国の大規模のイベント、フェスティバルに出演。 各国メディアからは「ジャパニーズ・アンダーグラウンドテクノキング」との名称が与えられ、そのハードかつストイックに展開するサウンドスタイルで世界中に多くの信者を持つ。 『テクノの概念をさらに前進させる、独自のインダストリアル観を持つグルーヴ感』に特化したそのDJ/LIVEプレイはクラウドに新鮮な衝撃を与え、熱狂させている。
DJ Yaziは、高純度のディープトリップ・ミュージックを垂れ流し続ける脅威の黒煙集団〈Think Tank〉のオリジナルメンバー/DJであり、〈Black Smoker Records〉主催El NinoのレジデントDJ。様々なジャンルを自在に操り、フロアを独自のカラーに染め上げる手腕に熱い厚い信頼を受ける男である。テクノ/インダストリアルを基軸としたイベント「Konvection」にて、Takaaki Itohと共にホストを務める。レギュラーパーティを軸にしながら貫いている徹底した現場重視のスタンスで、国内だけに留まらず、ヨーロッパを始め国際的にもその活躍の幅を広げ、様々な深夜を人一倍の薄明かりの中で美しく彩り、そして確実に揺らしている。
Takaaki Itoh is a techno DJ representing Japan both in name and reality. He has performed at large-scale events and festivals in various countries, including Party <KLUBNACHT> at BERGHAIN. He has been named ‘Japanese Underground Techno King’ by the media around the world, and has many followers all over the world with his hard and stoic sound style. He has released over 50 tracks and EPs and has DJ’d and performed in over 200 cities in over 20 countries.
DJ Yazi is an original member and DJ of “Think Tank,” a group of menacing black smoke collective that continues to pour out high-purity deep trip music, and the resident DJ of El Nino, the organizer of “Black Smoker Records”. He is a man who is trusted for his ability to manipulate a variety of genres and color the floor with his own unique style. He hosts the techno/industrial-based event “Konvektion” with Takaaki Itoh.
