S.O.N.S、本名Timは、韓国ソウルの彼のレコード店「Junction」と、彼の冒険心溢れるDJセットを通じて、ヴァイナル・フォーマットの推進に力を注いでいる。10年以上前にソウルに移り住んだ彼は、地元のエレクトロニック・ミュージック・コミュニティーの発展の一翼を担い、現在はイテウォン地区の中心にある有名クラブ「Ring」のレジデントDJを務めている。
彼はスタジオでの音楽制作や、店頭での顧客対応、そしてまだ発見されていない新しい音楽の発掘に没頭する傍ら、様々な別名義（“Dj Jacuzziy”、“SYO”…）やコラボレーション（“Forest Witches”、“Giorgio Celeste & The Cobra”）で好評を博し、そのほとんどを自身のレーベルからリリースしている。
S.O.N.S, real name Tim, is pushing the vinyl format throught his adventurous DJ sets and his record store Junction in Seoul, South Korea. Having settled in the city more than 10 years ago, he has been part of the local electronic music community development and is currently resident DJ of the reknowned Ring club, at the heart of the Itaewon District.
With several well received records under different aliases (Dj Jacuzziy, SYO…) and collaborations (Forest Witches, Giorgio Celeste & The Cobra) mostly self released on his own labels , he divides his time between making music in the studio, caring for the customers in the store, and digging compulsively for new yet unearthed music.
