Kiss Nukaは、ムンバイとバルセロナを拠点に活動する多領域にまたがる表現者、Anushka Manchandaによるジャンル横断的かつ検閲されないプロジェクトである。編集、監督、ボリウッドのプレイバックシンガー、そしてスクリーンでのパフォーマンスなど、多岐にわたるキャリアを背景に持つ。
その活動はフェミニズム、アニマルライツ、環境問題といったテーマの交差点に位置し、音楽作品のリリースに加え、高電圧なライブセット、オーディオビジュアル作品、写真表現といった多様なかたちで展開されている。
トライバルかつレイヴィーなライブセットは、Glastonbury Festival、fabric、Unfold、Venue MOT、The Carpet Shop、Barbican、Magnetic Fields Festival、All Together Now、Oil、Keep Hush、Boiler Room、Crack Magazine、Mixmag LABといった数々の舞台で披露されてきた。
インドのスピリチュアルな系譜に根ざし、古代のマントラやヒーリングの実践を取り入れたDeep Listeningセッションでは、ダンスフロアと儀式の境界を曖昧にしていく。
