Herbalistek（ハーバリステック）は、東京を拠点に活動するプロデューサー／DJデュオで、ダークで実験的なベースミュージックを、没入感のあるサウンドデザインと変幻自在のリズム、サイケデリックな強度で表現している。テクノ、ダブステップ、IDM、トラップ、ダウンテンポなど多彩な影響を受けた彼らのセットは、濁った低域と鮮やかなテクスチャーを融合し、ジャンルの枠を超えたダンスフロア体験を提供する。
日本のアンダーグラウンドシーンから台頭し、G Jones、Hamdi、Ivy Lab、Ternion Sound、DJ KRUSHなどのアクトのサポートを務めてきた。Fuji Rock、Ultra Japan、Re:birth、Harukaze、EDC Japanなどのフェスティバルにも出演し、EDC JapanのDiscovery Projectでメインステージ出演権を獲得するなど評価を得ている。
国際的にはアジア各地やオーストラリアでの公演経験も豊富で、2024年にはフロリダのThe Rendezvousでアメリカデビューを果たし、Tipper、Jade Cicada、Detox Unitらと共演した。その後、ミネソタのInfrasound Equinoxにも出演。2025年にはワシントン州の象徴的な会場Gorge Amphitheaterで開催された「Tipper and Friends」に出演し、Shpongle、Cut Chemist、LTJ Bukem、Badun、Shmoop、SuperSillyUsらとステージを共有。彼らの芸術的な歩みにおける重要なマイルストーンとなった。
彼らが主催するイベントシリーズ「SECTOR」では、GOTH-TRAD、DJ KRUSH、EPROMなど日本を代表する重要人物を東京に迎え入れ、Herbalistekは日本の実験的ベースシーンの中核としての地位を確立している。
Polygonia、JakoJako、Simo Cell、Beatrice Mなど海外のアーティストからのサポートも増え、ジャンルや国境を越えて活動の幅を広げ続けている。
Herbalistek is a Tokyo-based producer/DJ duo crafting experimental bass music rooted in immersive sound design, shifting rhythms, and psychedelic intensity. Blending influences from techno, dubstep, IDM, trap and downtempo, their sets bridge murky low-end with vibrant textures, offering a genre-defiant experience built for the dancefloor and beyond.
Rising from Japan’s underground, they’ve supported acts like Tipper, G Jones, Hamdi, Ivy Lab, Ternion Sound, EPROM and DJ KRUSH, and performed at festivals including Fuji Rock, Ultra Japan, Re:birth, Harukaze, and EDC Japan, where they earned a mainstage slot via the Discovery Project.
Internationally, Herbalistek has performed across Asia and Australia, and in 2024 made a powerful US debut at The Rendezvous in Florida, sharing the stage with Tipper, Jade Cicada, Detox Unit, and more, followed by Infrasound Equinox in Minnesota.
In 2025, Herbalistek also performed at the iconic Gorge Amphitheater in Washington for Tipper and Friends: one of the most celebrated events in the global psychedelic bass scene. Sharing the stage with artists such as Shpongle, Cut Chemist, LTJ Bukem, Badun, Shmoop, SuperSillyUs and more, this performance marked a milestone in their artistic journey.
Herbalistek has made substantial contributions to Japan’s local music scene by supporting some of the most prominent names in bass music. They have played key roles as direct support for major artists such as G Jones (2024), Hamdi (2024), Ivy Lab (2023), Ternion Sound (2022), and Alison Wonderland during her Wonderland Warehouse Project Tour (2019). Additionally, they supported DJ KRUSH on his latest album tour「再生 -Saisei-」,in Tokyo (2024), further cementing their influential presence in Japan’s vibrant music landscape.
The duo gained significant recognition by winning the 2019 Discovery Project for EDC Japan, securing a mainstage slot alongside top global artists. Their prominence was further solidified in 2022 with a standout B2B set with Allen Mock at Ultra Japan Music Festival, showcasing their dynamic presence. Herbalistek’s influence extended across Japan’s electronic music scene, highlighted by performances at domestic festivals including Re:birth, Matricaria, Mycelium, Subculture, Meeting Point and more…
In 2024, Herbalistek further expanded their reach with a powerful debut at Fuji Rock Festival, Japan’s biggest outdoor music event. Performing on the Day Dreaming Stage, they shared the spotlight with leading names in Japan’s electronic scene, including Trekkie Trax, Daruma & Jommy.
Their self-curated event series SECTOR has brought key figures like GOTH-TRAD, DJ KRUSH, and EPROM to Tokyo, cementing Herbalistek as driving forces in Japan’s experimental bass scene.
With growing support from international artists including Polygonia, JakoJako, Simo Cell, Beatrice M and more – they continue expanding their reach across genres and borders.
