札幌を拠点に2005年より活動するDJ。テクノ/ハウスをバックボーンに変拍子、ダブ、ベース、宇宙、アシッド、バグをも雑食に咀嚼/消化し、代謝されたサウンドは享楽的フロアを創りあげる。
札幌PRECIOUS HALLにて7時間のロングセット『RETROSPECTIVE』を不定期で開催。PRECIOUS HALL内部の音響に特化したFNフロアで開催される『Auditory Lounge』への参加や、自身が運営する〝スパイスの穴ムジナ〟にて不定期で『脱力音楽会』を主宰など、ディープリスニングにもフィールドを広げ音楽都市札幌においても無二のDJとして存在を確立している。
Based in Sapporo, Japan. MITAYO started his career since 2005.
With a techno/house backbone and omnivorously chewing and digesting odd time, dub, bass, space, acid, and even bugs, his metabolized sound creates a joyful floor.
He holds a 7-hour long set event “RETROSPECTIVE” at legendary venue in Sapporo, PRECIOUS HALL. He also participates in “Auditory Lounge” held on the FN floor inside PRECIOUS HALL, which specializes in acoustics. Furthermore, he holds deep listening party “Datsuryoky-Ongakukai (脱力音楽会)” at “Spice No Ana Mujina” where is a curry shop, directed by himself and establishing himself as a unique DJ in the music scene of Sapporo.
